Little Rock Creek - Dissolved Oxygen, Nitrate, Temperature and Fish Bioassessment

This project addresses one impairment for Biota (lack of coldwater fish assemblage), one impairment for nitrates and one impairment for temperature from the headwaters of Little Rock Creek to the confluence of the Mississippi River. The study also includes one impairment for nitrates on Bunker Hill Creek, a tributary to Little Rock Creek. The Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District is the lead for this project.

Map and location

Little Rock Creek is located in the Mississippi River- Sartell watershed, which lies in the southeastern portion of the Upper Mississippi basin.
