Regional groundwater profiles

Groundwater profiles were created in October 1995 for nine regions in Minnesota. The profiles identify needs projected over a 5- to 10-year time frame, and summarize the following information:

  • Hydrogeology
  • Groundwater quantity issues
  • Groundwater quality issues
  • Additional groundwater information needed
  • Desired actions to protect groundwater in the region
