Math webinars are offered as a refresher to help wastewater operators prepare for solving math problems associated with Class C job descriptions. This webinar will cover essential math skills including how to convert units of measure and the order of operations for solving basic Algebra problems. The webinar provides opportunities to practice solving common math problems and attendees will work through solving math problems step-by-step with guidance from instructors. Math problems include recirculation ratio, geometric mean, converting units, using common formulas, percent removal, detention time, pumping rate, loading, food to mass, and calculating volume, area, velocity, and perimeter. This webinar is intended to refresh basic knowledge related to need-to-know content for Class C operators.

- Math webinars are not offered to rehearse or memorize how to answer wastewater exam questions, and they do not provide attendees with correct answers for specific exam questions.
