Mesabi Metallics Company, LLC is proposing to operate a mine, taconite processing facility, and tailings basin located in Nashwauk, Minnesota. Activities at this facility will include open-pit taconite mining, crushing, concentrating, pelletizing, and tailings disposal.
Discussion at this public meeting will include the drafts of the NPDES/SDS wastewater permit, the Part 70 air permit, and the 401 water quality certification.
