Continuing education courses bring certified operators together to explore current trends and issues in solid waste management. Each one-day training features flexible course content with presentations and activities covering regulatory compliance, health/safety concerns, operational challenges, and a facility tour. Lunch will be provided.
This course is appropriate for Type II and Type III operators to renew a solid waste certification. Type II certification requires 18 contact hours over three years; Type III certification requires 6 contact hours over three years. Certification renewal requires completion of the renewal application.
