This page helps users find public data available from Minnesota’s PFAS in products reporting program, which is part of the PFAS pollution prevention law known as Amara’s Law. All PFAS in products reports are public, excluding trade secrets. Reporting PFAS use in products is foundational to helping manufacturers develop safer alternatives to PFAS, informing interested consumers and businesses, and guiding progress toward ending all nonessential PFAS use in Minnesota by 2032. Reducing PFAS use is the most cost-effective way to protect public health, the environment, and our economy from PFAS pollution.
Included products
Minnesota requires manufacturers to report all products made with intentionally added PFAS after July 1, 2023. The requirement applies to products sold, offered for sale, or distributed in Minnesota, including online sales.
Information in PRISM
PFAS in products reports are submitted and available through the PFAS Reporting Information for Manufacturers (PRISM) public search portal. PRISM user guides include a search guide to help those unfamiliar with PRISM navigate the data.
The MPCA publishes these data as provided by manufacturers after reviewing reports for general completeness and trade secret requests. Reports are reviewed on a rolling basis; review time varies by report complexity.
As of Oct. 13, 2026, the MPCA has published 63,549 rows of data covering about 23,500 products. This represents about 16% of reports received to date.
Information on other sites
Some manufacturers requested and received a waiver from using PRISM. These manufacturers must maintain the equivalent PFAS in product information on a publicly available site.
As of Oct. 13, 2026, the following manufacturers are providing PFAS in products information under waivers.

Limitations for consumer use
Reporting data could be useful for consumers and businesses looking to avoid PFAS in products. All products reported contain some amount of intentionally added PFAS. Public reporting data may be missing products from manufacturers who have received an extension, are behind on reporting, or are found in reports not yet published by the MPCA.
For consumers outside Minnesota looking for information about PFAS in products available in their area, please note that Minnesota prohibits intentionally added PFAS in twelve categories of products. Products from these categories are not required to be reported since they are no longer sold in Minnesota.
Contact manufacturers directly with questions about their products.
