The MPCA sought contractors to work with Minnesota tribal governments and tribal organizations that serve Minnesota tribal governments to provide technical support and assistance to advance environmental and climate action. Services could include grant writing, grant management, identifying priority areas for funding, environmental science, engineering assistance, or engagement and educational assistance.
Contractors will collaborate with respective tribal government programs and/or tribal organization staff to support tribal priority projects. The intent of this RFP is to award funding to contractors with experience in successfully applying for and managing grants, demonstrated success in carrying out tribal-driven priority projects, and collaboration/partnership with tribal governments and/or tribal organizations.

Eligibility
Eligible responders include for profit, nonprofit, universities, and intertribal consortia. Responders will demonstrate through a proposal that they have the expertise and experience in grant development, grant management, and professional and technical environmental expertise needed to assist Minnesota tribal nations and organizations in the preparation of federal and state grant applications, feasibility studies, management plans, and environmental and climate studies and assessments.
Available funds
Up to $4 million is available to be awarded under this RFP.
- The maximum grant award is $350,000.
- There is no minimum.
