The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency requests proposals to conduct a bench study to evaluate the effectiveness and potential dosages of soil amendments at the bench scale to support the analysis, decision making, and planning required to implement Remedial Actions for the Precision Plating Superfund Site (SR0000249). The goal is to help ensure the area can be reused in a positive and beneficial way in the future.
Remedial actions for the site include in-situ treatment of remaining chlorinated volatile organic compound (CVOC)-contaminated soils with in-situ chemical reduction (ISCR) or oxidation (ISCO) and solidification/stabilization (ISS) amendments as well as metal stabilization amendments. Site Background information is included in Attachment F.
Responses must be received not later than 4 p.m., Central Time, Jan 8, 2026; late responses will not be considered.
