The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) solicited proposals from qualified contractors to research and report on the projected costs of climate change adaptation and resilience measures needed to mitigate the projected impacts in the state of Minnesota.
The legislation describing this study is in 2024 Session Laws, Chapter 116, Article 1, Section 33; it requires the MPCA to carry out a study on climate adaptation and resilience costs and submit the report to the Legislature. The budget for this study is up to approximately $750,000.
