Using the P8 software model

This workshop will introduce public works staff, engineers, water resources engineers & managers, designers, planners, and public officials to the fundamentals of water quality modeling with a focus on the P8 Urban Catchment Model. P8 is a water quality model for simulating pollutant generation and treatment in urban areas. 

This course will provide presentations and hands-on exercises that will introduce you to the Windows version of the P8 model. The course will cover model assumptions, limitations, and application. You will learn how to review the results of water quality models such as P8. (7 PDH) Laptops are required and the P8 modeling software should be installed prior to the workshop. The software is available free at http://wwwalker.net/p8/.
