Smart Salting: Weather for winter maintenance refresher (private)

Participants will learn about the impacts of salt on the environment, the fundamentals of Smart Salting and take a deeper look into winter weather tools and more. 

  • Audience: city, county, state, or private winter maintenance professionals who are currently certified in Smart Salting
  • 3 hours online (proof of attendance provided)

Registration information

This is a private training hosted locally by St. Louis County and the MPCA chloride reduction program. Funding for training development is provided by MPCA through the Clean Water Fund.

Global: Host a Smart Salting event

Host a training or workshop. The Smart Salting training program is rooted in partnerships with local organizations to host trainings. Host responsibilities include advertising the training, providing a venue if hosting an in-person training, and covering a portion of the cost of the training.
