Participants will learn how to integrate science with practical winter maintenance while minimizing impacts on the environment.
- Audience: private winter maintenance companies, city park, hospital and school winter maintenance professionals
- Upon completion of Parking lots & Sidewalks training and passing the test issued at the end of training, you will earn a Smart Salting certification that expires 5 years from the date of training.
- Managers, supervisors, owners, or those that are familiar with the organization’s overall winter-maintenance practices can stay to attend the Level 2 Smart Salting Tool Organizational Certification training (1:30-4:30 p.m.) that walks through how to submit assessments using the Smart Salting Tool to earn the Level 2 Certification.
