Offered in conjunction with the MPCA, this course is to be a review of SSTS regulator requirements, SSTS design submittal requirements, system inspection, system operation and management, and soil verification responsibilities. This includes topics that are part of chapter 7080-7083 as they are incorporated in ordinance and enforcement of state rules. This course qualifies for four hours of direct continuing education credit.

The training needed to fulfill MPCA requirements for SSTS professionals is delivered through the Onsite Sewage Treatment Program at the University of Minnesota Water Resources Center.
