The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is developing new rules to better regulate odors from industrial and commercial facilities. These rules will apply in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties).
On Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., join the virtual odor rulemaking listening session for residents. Agency staff will share information and answer questions. There will be dedicated time to learn from residents on their lived experiences and feedback. This listening session is relevant to residents that live or work in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area and are interested in odor rulemaking, though anyone is welcome to attend.
