Pig’s Eye Dump task force meeting

The Pig’s Eye Dump Task Force, led by the MPCA, includes several state agencies and local units of government. The task force is charged with coordinating efforts to remediate and restore the Pig's Eye Landfill Superfund site and address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination of Battle Creek, Pig's Eye Lake, and nearby groundwater. Task force meetings are recorded and open to the public. The Pig’s Eye Task Force will meet every two months through January 2026.

This is the eighth task force meeting, which will include a presentation on Krejci Dump from Cuyahoga National Park, presentations on future plans for the Pig’s Eye area; and next steps for public engagement.
