The packaging EPR advisory board includes 18 individuals representing a wide range of impacted parties under Minnesota's Packaging Waste and Cost Reduction Act. This advisory board will review activities conducted by the MPCA and the producer responsibility organization (PRO) and advise on program implementation.
This is the fifth board meeting. This meeting will include an overview of waste prevention, reuse, and recycling activities (SCORE Report), a discussion of what it will mean for a covered material to be “reusable, refillable, recyclable, or compostable,” and a conversation about covered material types to guide reporting. The meeting will include updates from the MPCA and Circular Action Alliance (CAA) on program implementation.
A public comment period will be available at the end of the meeting.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and will have the option to pose questions as a part of the scheduled time.
