Join state leaders and the authors of a new adaptation cost study
Climate change is expected to cost the state of Minnesota as much as $47 billion annually by the end of the century, according to a new report that the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will discuss in a webinar. The report projects the costs of climate change and the costs of adapting to these impacts.
The findings are based on an analysis of dozens of peer-reviewed studies and were developed with a process that engaged dozens of Minnesotans who work on issues directly affected by climate change. The MPCA contracted with national and state-level experts in economics and climate to complete this study.
The public is invited to join state leaders and the authors of the study on Wednesday, March 18, at 10 a.m. for a public webinar to review the adaptation cost study and ask questions about the plan.
Register online and you will receive a link to join the webinar.
