Minnesota's $200 million climate-smart food systems (CSFS) initiative is investing in farmers, food processors, nonprofits, and local communities to build a food system that reduces waste and climate pollution while nourishing Minnesotans statewide.
October 2025 marked one year of the climate smart food systems initiative. We are taking time to reflect on progress made toward building the initiative and looking forward to new grant rounds that will be opening in the coming months.
