A traveling exhibit and community engagement initiative that explores the science, history, story, culture, and relationships of water in Minnesota. Locally hosted by the Mississippi River St. Cloud Watershed Collaborative.

  • Interactive exhibits about what makes this watershed unique and the challenges around keeping water healthy.
  • Events to help you discover many ways to engage in water protection.

Exhibit hours: Sherburne History Center

  • Tuesday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We are Water

We are Water MN is led by the Minnesota Humanities Center in partnership with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; the Minnesota Historical Society; the Board of Water and Soil Resources; the Minnesota Departments of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources; and University of Minnesota Extension.

We are Water MN is funded in part with money from the Clean Water, Land, & Legacy Fund that was created with the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
