TMDL reporting: Everything you need to know

Join us for an online lunch & learn workshop as part of the Clean Sweep Program. In response to research showing that street sweeping can be an effective pollution prevention practice, the MPCA worked with researchers at the University of Minnesota to develop waste load allocation (WLA) crediting methods for total phosphorus for street sweeping. Learn about the total phosphorus (TP) crediting tool, other crediting methods approved by MPCA, and what you'll need to get credit for sweeping.

  • What are stormwater credits and how do they apply to street sweeping?
  • Which pollutants can my organization get credit for?
  • What street sweeping efforts can I get credit for?
  • How do I determine a TMDL baseline for street sweeping?
  • How do I calculate credits for the street sweeping that my organization is doing?
  • How much additional credit could we get if we increased the amount of sweeping we are doing?
  • How do I report the credits that my organization if eligible for?
