2025 Climate Action Framework Draft Action Steps overview

Share your thoughts about climate change and Minnesota's 2025 Climate Action Framework in June

Minnesota is updating our Climate Action Framework in 2025 to include a more comprehensive set of actions with a stronger focus on collaboration, community benefits, and workforce needs. Though we have made progress, we must accelerate the pace and scale of our climate actions to achieve our long-term vision of a carbon-neutral, resilient, and equitable future.

Minnesota state government wants to hear how climate change is impacting your community and the actions you'd like to see included in the 2025 Climate Action Framework. In June, the state will seek public feedback on draft action steps that will lay the foundation for our updated framework.

Learn more about our next steps for the Climate Action Framework through this two-part webinar in June.

  • Part I: Minnesota climate change listening session (Monday, June 2, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.)
How is your community feeling the impacts of climate change? What climate actions are you most excited about? Share more about how you're feeling about climate change in a listening session convened by state leaders.
  • Part II: 2025 Climate Action Framework Draft Action Steps overview (Monday, June 16, 2025, from 2 to 3 p.m.)
Learn how you can provide your perspective on the draft action steps the state is releasing for public comment in June and July.

Attendees are welcome to participate in one or both of the webinars. The state will be releasing the 2025 Climate Action Framework draft action steps for public comment after the June 16 webinar. Reach out to climate.mn@state.mn.us with questions.
