How do I apply for the Industrial Stormwater Permit or certify No Exposure?

You know you need a permit, you have assessed your facility for pollutants, you have gathered the necessary materials before applying, and you have created your SWPPP. You are ready to apply for the Industrial Stormwater Permit or certify for No Exposure!

The application period for the 2020 permit will begin Fall 2019, and all applications will be made online through MPCA’s e-services portal. (Paper applications will not be used.)

Use this form to make changes to application questions other than a change in No Exposure Status. Submit it electronically! Read the instructions carefully for details.

Note: a new application is required for No Exposure status changes.

Use this form to terminate permit coverage.

Only allowed if 100% of the significant materials and industrial activities are permanently removed from the facility.

Note: To transfer “No Exposure” ownership: the new owner needs to fill out a new application form.
