TMDL Project: Bald Eagle Lake - Excess Nutrients
Background
This project addresses Bald Eagle Lake, which is impaired due to excess nutrients. Rice Creek Watershed District is taking the technical lead in both developing this TMDL study and coordinating implementation activities to restore this water body. The draft TMDL is targeted to be completed in 2010.
Map and location
Bald Eagle Lake is located predominantly in White Bear Township and the city of Hugo, Minnesota. The lake lies within the Rice Creek watershed in the Mississippi River - Twin Cities major watershed.
