This project is located within the Minnehaha Creek watershed and addresses an E. coli listing in Minnehaha Creek and an excess nutrients listing for Lake Hiawatha. The project is a joint effort among the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA is contracting with Tetra Tech, Inc., an environmental consulting firm, to develop this TMDL study. The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District is providing technical support and is leading stakeholder involvement. The draft TMDL is targeted to be completed in 2013.
