Chippewa River — Turbidity: TMDL Project

Nine reaches impaired for turbidity in the Chippewa River Watershed are addressed in this TMDL study. These reaches are found throughout the watershed and range in size. The draft TMDL Report was completed by the Chippewa River Watershed Project (CRWP) and a consultant, and included assistance and input from a local stakeholder advisory group. The draft implementation plan, written with the help of the local stakeholder advisory group, was submitted by the CRWP and will be reviewed for approval by the MPCA once the TMDL report is approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
