Remediation sites

Remediation is the process of cleaning up pollution in the soil, water or air. The pollution can result from an accidental spill or from activities that occur over a long time. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is involved in remediation activities through various programs listed below. For more information about the MPCA and its work in cleaning up pollution at specific contaminated sites in Minnesota, refer to the information on this page and associated links.
