Q2. My organization does not have any paid staff; are we eligible to be a host site?
A2. No. An organization must have at least 1 FTE to be eligible. Host sites are required to provide day-to-day professional supervision of the Minnesota GreenCorps member(s), equating to at least 3.2 hours per week (0.08 full time employee (FTE), per member). Host site applications will be reviewed using established criteria, which includes organizational capacity and commitment and the demonstrated ability for qualified and available supervision for member training and support.
Q1. Is my organization able to apply to host more than one member?
A1. Yes. Submit a separate application for each member position request. In order for an organization to be considered for more than one-member position, the request in each application must be for different member positions (i.e., air pollutant reduction, green infrastructure improvements, waste reduction, recycling, and organics management, community readiness and outreach). In an effort to allocate Minnesota GreenCorps member positions and resources to various communities, organizations will not generally receive more than two member positions per year, and will not be eligible for more than three consecutive years as a host site.
