  The biennial report offers a look at the activities of the OEA over the past two years, detailing successes and future challenges.
  


• Interagency Pollution Prevention Advisory Team (IPPAT): Summary Report
  Minnesota state agencies prepare an annual summary of their progress in preventing pollution. This report fulfills the requirements of Governor's Executive Order 99-4 providing for the implementation of pollution prevention by state government. These reports are consolidated into a single Pollution Prevention Summary Report.

  A report to the Legislature about the management of electronic products as waste. The report includes management alternatives and recommendations for improving the management of the appliances listed as priorities. (July 1995)
  
  
• Manifested Shipments of Hazardous Waste by Minnesota Generators
  Background information and trends in shipments and management of hazardous waste by Minnesota generators for 1996-1999. (June 2001)
  
  
• Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Policy Plan
  Every 6 years, starting in 1997, the policy plan is part of an expanded Solid Waste Policy Report. The document outlines and updates the plan for managing solid waste from the Twin Cities metropolitan area, and is prepared with input from state agencies, county staff, and stakeholders including representatives of the waste industry, environmental groups, businesses, and citizens.
  
  
• Minnesota MSW Composition Study
  Minnesota has established itself as a national leader in the responsible managment of municipal solid waste — MSW or "garbage." Yet Minnesota businesses and residents threw away nearly 3 million tons of MSW in 1998. The statewide MSW Composition Study is a detailed examination of what Minnesotans throw away as garbage. Manuals and guidebooks

• Business Assessment: Support for Reuse and Recycling Manufacturing Companies
  A report on an OEA-funded project that conducted assessments of six recycling businesses' goals, markets and potential markets, operations, and finances. (June 2002)
• Design for the Environment Toolkit
  This Design for the Environment (DfE) toolkit gives helps companies incorporate environmental attributes early into product design. Incorporating environmental attributes can reduce materials use and waste, improve designs, and reduce future liabilities. (November 1998)
• Environmental Literacy Scope and Sequence
  A tool for educators that provides a systems approach to environmental education in Minnesota. It describes key concepts about the interaction of natural and social systems and a sequence in which they are to be taught. It also discusses benchmarks, standards, and applications in the classroom. (March 2002)
  
• A GreenPrint for Minnesota, Second Edition
  The revised state plan for environmental education (EE) offers guidance to individuals, organizations and agencies that deliver or support environmental education (EE) in Minnesota. (August 2000)
• Minnesota Guide to Pollution Prevention Planning
  This guide was originally developed to help companies comply with the Minnesota Toxic Pollution Prevention Act. The revised guide includes background on the concepts and benefits of pollution prevention (P2), as well as step-by-step guidance for developing a pollution prevention plan. (May 1999)
• Retail Hardware: Best Management Practices for Waste Management
  A management tool, documenting costs and benefits of "best management practices" for waste reduction and pollution prevention in the operation of retail hardware stores. (July 1998)
• Reusable Transport Packaging Directory
  A listing of manufacturers and suppliers of many types of reusable transport packaging. (October 1995)
  
• Source Reduction Now
  A step-by-step reference for implementing a waste prevention program. (1993)
  
• Transport Packaging: Cost-Effective Strategies for Reducing, Reusing and Recycling in the Grocery Industry
