    The biennial report offers a look at the activities of the OEA over the past two years, detailing successes and future challenges.

  • Interagency Pollution Prevention Advisory Team (IPPAT): Summary Report
    Minnesota state agencies prepare an annual summary of their progress in preventing pollution. This report fulfills the requirements of Governor's Executive Order 99-4 providing for the implementation of pollution prevention by state government. These reports are consolidated into a single Pollution Prevention Summary Report.

    A report to the Legislature about the management of electronic products as waste. The report includes management alternatives and recommendations for improving the management of the appliances listed as priorities. (July 1995)

  • Manifested Shipments of Hazardous Waste by Minnesota Generators
    Background information and trends in shipments and management of hazardous waste by Minnesota generators for 1996-1999. (June 2001)

  • Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Policy Plan
    Every 6 years, starting in 1997, the policy plan is part of an expanded Solid Waste Policy Report. The document outlines and updates the plan for managing solid waste from the Twin Cities metropolitan area, and is prepared with input from state agencies, county staff, and stakeholders including representatives of the waste industry, environmental groups, businesses, and citizens.

  • Minnesota MSW Composition Study
    Minnesota has established itself as a national leader in the responsible managment of municipal solid waste — MSW or "garbage." Yet Minnesota businesses and residents threw away nearly 3 million tons of MSW in 1998. The statewide MSW Composition Study is a detailed examination of what Minnesotans throw away as garbage.     The Minnesota Solid Waste Policy Report provides an analysis of the status of the state's solid waste system, and makes recommendations regarding Minnesota's waste management policies, system improvements and research.

    This profile describes the economic contributions and general environmental benefits of Minnesota's recycling manufacturing companies. (June 1997)

  • Minnesota’s Recycling Industries: Economic Activity Summary
    Building on research in 1996, this study looks at the significant value Minnesota's recycling industries add to our state's economy, both economic and environmental. (June 2002)
