Starting in 2007, Sony Electronics and Waste Management offer free recycling for Sony-brand consumer electronics in the U.S. Consumers can bring their unwanted Sony products to listed Waste Management eCycling locations: www.sonystyle.com/recycle.

Minnesota roots
This national program grew out of a first-of-its-kind statewide program in Minnesota, based on an agreement between Sony and Waste Management that was announced October 2000.
Under this landmark agreement, Sony made a 5-year commitment in Minnesota. Based on the success of the state program, Sony and Waste Management decided to expand into all 50 states.
