Conferences
The Sustainable Communities Program has sponsored several major conferences focusing on sustainability, providing resources and inspiration for integrating sustainability into communities across the state.

Regional meetings
During 1997 and 1998, the program held twelve regional meetings throughout the state. These meetings included speakers on sustainable communities topics, small group discussions, and networking opportunities.
Facilitation efforts
Program staff support other conferences and training events by moderating, presenting and providing information materials.
