What is the design phase?
Provides technical assistance to companies looking to expand or build new facilities in Minnesota. This technical assistance is intended to look for opportunities to minimize the environmental impact of a proposed project.

The design phase creates unique opportunities to both benefit the company and the environment. Evaluation can include but is not limited to:
- Air Emissions
- Innovative Stormwater Approaches
- Energy Usage
- Pollution Prevention in Process Operations
- Water Usage
- Water Discharge
- Toxic Emission/Discharge
- Other Areas as needed
