As part of Governor Pawlenty's "Drive to Excellence" initiative, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has created an online permit application system for its construction stormwater program. The initiative seeks to increase the electronic delivery of government services and bring private sector solutions to the management of state government's information technology systems.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) seeks comments on Waste Management Inc.'s proposed expansion of the Burnsville Sanitary Landfill. The University of Minnesota has agreed to pay an $18,000 civil penalty to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) for alleged hazardous waste violations at campus locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
