Stormwater Program for Industrial Activity
The Industrial Stormwater Program's goal is to reduce the amount of pollution that enters surface and ground water from industrial facilities in the form of stormwater runoff. This goal is accomplished by requiring permitted facilities to:
- Develop an effective Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) which contains your Stormwater Control Measures, described as Best Management Practices (BMPs).
- Manage stormwater runoff by meeting the permit requirements or certify condition of No Exposure. The Industrial Stormwater Program received approval to issue the Industrial Stormwater Multi-Sector General Permit. The Permit became effective on April 5, 2010.

The 2011 Annual Report and Newsletter were mailed to all permittees ~1/30/12. Fill out the Annual Report and mail in by 3/31/12. Next year's annual report will not be mailed out but will be available for electronic download and submittal. |

Industrial Stormwater Permit Information Access Download your Stormwater Monitoring Report (SWMR) forms, view your monitoring calendar, or check the status of an application! No monitoring forms will be mailed to permittees except by request. Note: Unable to collect a sample during your monitoring interval? Follow these steps:
Tip: A snow melt or winter/spring thaw event can count as a "measurable runoff event." For more information on how to use the Industrial Stormwater Permit Information Access Tool, see Step 11: Evaluate and submit sampling results. |
