Minnesota's Impaired Waters and TMDLs
TMDL Project: Buffalo Creek South Fork Crow River: Bacteria
Background
This project has two fecal coliform impairments from the headwaters of Buffalo Creek to the confluence of the South Fork Crow River. The Crow River Organizations of Water (CROW) and Wenck Associates are currently completing the modeling and the draft TMDL study document. This project started in June 2008 and is scheduled to be completed in 2011.
Map and location
Buffalo Creek is located in the South Fork Crow River watershed in the southern portion of the Upper Mississippi basin .

- Due to the State Government shutdown, the public comment period has been extended to August 15, 2011
