Minnesota's Impaired Waters and TMDLs
Project: Reitz Lake - Excess Nutrients
Background
This project addresses Reitz Lake, which is impaired due to excess nutrients. Carver County Land and Water Services is taking the technical lead in both developing this TMDL study and coordinating implementation activities to restore this water body. The draft TMDL is targeted to be completed in 2010.
Map and location
Located just east of the City of Waconia in Carver County, which is in the Lower Minnesota River watershed in the Minnesota River Basin.
