TMDL Project: Deer Creek — Turbidity
Background
This project addresses 1 impairment for turbidity from the headwaters of Deer Creek to the Nemadji River. Deer Creek is a tributary to the Nemadji River. The Carlton County Soil and Water Conservation District is in the process of developing a workplan for this project. The draft TMDL is targeted to be completed by 2012.
Map and location
Deer Creek is located in the Nemadji River watershed in the southern portion of the Lake Superior Basin.
