Regional Groundwater Profiles
Groundwater profiles were created in October 1995 for nine regions in Minnesota. The profiles identify needs projected over a five- to ten-year time frame, and summarize the following information:
- Hydrogeology
- Groundwater quantity issues
- Groundwater quality issues
- Additional groundwater information needed
- Desired actions to protect the regions' groundwater
These groundwater profiles were developed by the Interagency groundwater Coordination Group, comprised of members from seven state and federal government agencies.
