Regional Sediment Databases

  • Sediment Contamination Database for the Upper Mississippi River System and Selected Tributaries (version 2) (U.S. Geological Survey) Exit to Web
  • Phase IV:  GIS-based Sediment Quality Database for the St. Louis River Area of Concern.  Contact Judy Crane (Minnesota Pollution Control Agency) at 651-757-2293 for supporting information about this project.  The database files are available at:  ftp://files.pca.state.mn.us/pub/sedimentDB/:

    • Microsoft™ Access 2000 version (which contains a user-friendly query interface):  STLR_SED_DB_PH4_Finalb.zip
    • Query Manager-compatible database files:  PhIV_STLR_SEDB_QM_Final.zip
  • Great Lakes Watershed Database (update: 1/17/2013) which contains sediment quality data from the St. Louis River Area of Concern (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Exit to Web
  • NOAA Data Integration Visualization Exploration and Reporting (DIVER) Explorer to query and download Great Lakes Restoration Initiative contaminant chemistry data from the Query Manager database. Includes sediment chemistry data from the St. Louis River Area of Concern.
