Voluntary Investigation and Cleanup Program Guidance Documents and Fact Sheets

When voluntary parties and their consultants undertake the investigation or cleanup of a site, they want to know what information the MPCA expects and needs to approve site activities. The VIC Program staff has prepared a series of guidance documents and fact sheets to assist program users in developing work plans and reports, as well as more detailed information about the laws that apply to cleanups and the assurances available to voluntary parties. Listed below are the guidance documents and fact sheets, along with a brief description of each document. Note: Not all documents are currently available electronically. Please contact the VIC Program at 651-757-2106 to obtain copies of documents not available on this page.
