Compliance Calendars
P2 Tip - Calendars
Record keeping should be an integral part of any pollution prevention program. Use your calendar for record keeping, and use the records to identify where waste can be reduced or eliminated.
Developed by the Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP), compliance calendars are currently available for six sectors. They can be used to keep records and log inspections, keep you up to date on regulations affecting your business, and provide great ideas for pollution prevention and waste reduction (and related cost savings).
To request a free calendar, call the SBEAP Hotline at 651-282-6143 or 800-657-3938.
You may also download and print a calendar. Note: to print like a calendar, set your print properties to flip up the pages.

What is the Guide?
The guide was created for small manufacturers as a user-friendly guide to Minnesota's environmental regulations. The goal is to give you enough information to quickly determine whether your business is subject to a regulation and where to go for more help.
How to Use the Guide
The guide is divided into short chapters for each of the rule areas mentioned above. Each chapter begins with a flow chart to walk you through different sections of the rules and help you determine which parts apply to your business. The remainder of each chapter describes the regulation in more detail and gives a step-by-step explanation of how to comply.
You will also find telephone numbers and Web site addresses for programs that can provide additional information, forms, or assistance. At the end of the guide is a list of sources for loans, grants, and clean-up reimbursement funds.
Who Created the Guide?
The guide was created by SBEAP in partnership with:
- Minnesota Dept of Agriculture (MDA)
- Minnesota Dept of Health (MDH)
- Minnesota Dept of Transportation (MnDOT)
- Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM)
