2009-2010 Minnesota GreenCorps members

In its inaugural program year, eighteen Minnesota GreenCorps members served at 15 host sites selected through a competitive process.

Project summaries: 2009-2010

Members served with host sites through August 2010 on projects in these areas:

• local government energy conservation
• waste prevention in schools
• living green outreach
• local food systems
• urban forestry

Four half-time members, who were also current students, served with the University of Minnesota-Morris, a strategic partner in the program.

All members received a living allowance during their service and were eligible for an education award at the end of their term.
