E-waste grants
Under the Minnesota Electronics Recycling Act, the Pollution Control Agency may provide financial assistance to help improve opportunities to collect and recycle covered electronic devices outside the 11-county metropolitan area. [Minn. Stat. § 115A.1314, subd. 2(b)].
The funding for these grants is dependent upon the availability of funds that accrue through recycling fees paid by manufacturers who do not meet their program-year recycling obligation.
