E-waste grants and contracts
Under the Minnesota Electronics Recycling Act, the Pollution Control Agency may provide financial assistance to increase and improve opportunities in Minnesota to collect and recycle covered electronic devices. [Minn. Stat. § 115A.1314, subd. 2(b)].
This funding is dependent upon the availability of funds that accrue through recycling fees paid by manufacturers who do not meet their program-year recycling obligation.
