Feedlot Environmental Review
Environmental Assessment Worksheets (EAW) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) are part of MPCA's environmental review process. This review process is a standardized public process designed to disclose information about the potential negative environmental effects of a proposed development and ways to avoid or minimize them before the project is permitted and built. The environmental review process operates according to the rules of the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) but is carried out by a local government unit or a state agency.
