Archived Citizens' Petitions
Under Minnesota's Environmental Review process, citizens can petition to request an environmental assessment worksheet (EAW) on a project that is not subject to a mandatory EAW.
- If the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, as the responsible governmental unit, determines there is potential for significant environmental effects, the project proposer must complete an EAW.
- If the petition is denied, the project proceeds to permitting.
These petitions to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency were denied.
