Minnesota pollution rules
Environmental rules and regulations are essential tools used to protect Minnesota's environment. These rules and regulations set standards for environmental quality and limits on pollutants. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) helps protect our environment by writing rules and enforcing regulations.

Public Rulemaking Docket (mmrule1-00) If you have rule-related questions, please contact the rule coordinators listed in the docket. - For rules proposed in the State Register, free access is available on the Minnesota Bookstore website.
To Receive Notice of Rule Changes
Whenever the state rules are changed there are a number of opportunities for public involvement and notification. The MPCA sends e-mail notifications through the GovDelivery system to notify the public at critical points in the process. At a minimum, GovDelivery notices are sent at the point that rule changes are first being considered, when rules are proposed for public comment, when hearings are held and when new rules become effective. Persons interested in receiving notices must register with Govdelivery.
