Green building and landscaping. The Green Crossing exhibit covers green design, energy efficiency, renewable energy, interior finishes, and landscaping. More than 50 organizations participated in this exhibit. They are listed on the Green Crossing page. MN GreenStar, a Minnesota-specific green certification program, is also at the Eco Experience.
Green jobs. Positively Minnesota coordinated the Jobs for the Future booth. Positively Minnesota provides industry labor market information and provides information to job seekers across the state.

Environmental education. Center for Global Environmental Education at Hamline University (CGEE) coordinated the “just for kids” area, featuring interactive kiosks and activities exploring our “ecological footprint.” CGEE fosters environmental literacy and stewardship in citizens of all ages.
Healthy, local food. Renewing the Countryside coordinated the Healthy Look food area. Renewing the Countryside works on bridging the urban/rural divide and fostering sustainable community development in rural Minnesota.

Solar. Sun Energy installed the 10 kilowatt wind turbine and tracking solar panels in the front of the Eco Experience. Sun Energy provides customers with solar and wind alternative energy solutions.
Powerfully Green coordinated the solar installations in the Green Crossing exhibit. Powerfully Green provides complete design and installation of solar energy systems for residential and small commercial customers.
Minnesota Renewable Energy Society (MRES) coordinated the solar exhibits inside and outside the Eco Experience. MRES promotes the use of renewable energy through classes and events.
