Air monitoring data at Minnesota frac sand facilities

Ambient air monitors were placed at two sites at the Great Plains Sand facility (Jordan, MN) in 2012, and have been collecting total suspended particles (TSP), particulate matter less than 10μm (PM10), and respirable crystalline silica (measured as PM10) data since third quarter of 2012. These data are not yet sufficient for a true comparison to ambient air quality standards and are considered preliminary at the current time (as of April 2013). Approximately three years of data  are required for comparison to the PM10 standard, and a complete year of measurements are required for comparison to the respirable crystalline silica health benchmark. The following activities were occurring on the site in 2012:

Q3 (July 2012 – September 2012): No activity
Q4: (October 2012 – December 2012): Construction, mining, blasting, stockpiling
