Brainerd, Minn. -- The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has scheduled a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 28, beginning at 6:30 p.m., regarding a proposed demolition landfill to be located just north of Finlayson. The meeting will be held at the Finlayson-Giese Lions Community Center, 2195 Finland Ave., in Finlyason.
MPCA staff and the permit applicant will be at the meeting to provide information about the proposed project and to answer questions about the draft solid waste permit. The proposed Finlayson Demolition Debris Land Disposal Facility will be located on a 40-acre parcel about 1.5 miles north of town.
