MN Pollution Control Agency Cancels Air Pollution Health Advisory

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has cancelled the air pollution health advisory issued Tuesday July 29, through Saturday August 2, 2008.

Changes in the air quality forecast today call for a low pressure system that will bring in moderate dry winds from the north, limiting particle formation. The Thursday through Friday forecast includes a weak cold front with light winds. The air quality index readings should peak daily in the low to mid-moderate range (approximately 51 to 65 on the Air Quality Index) which will be well below health thresholds.

For the most current air quality levels please check the MPCA's Air Quality Web site at: http://aqi.pca.state.mn.us/ . To sign up to receive free daily air quality forecasts go to: http://mn.enviroflash.info/
